We reach a milestone with our 50th anniversary exhibition in the Harborough Theatre. This was easily our most successful event for many years with sales in excess of £1000! Our special guest for the Gala event on the evening of Thursday 17th was well known local artist Peter Welton. This year, we even got a huge cake to mark the 50 year celebration.

Geoff Herickx amazed us with this oil painting in a demonstration this evening. Starting from a thickly gesso-primed blank canvas, thinly washed with a deep orange/red base coat, he went on to produce this wonderful Turner styled seascape in less than two hours!
