Meetings are held on the last Friday of each month, except December. In August there will be an outdoor meeting sketching or painting.

Several warm-up poses will be followed by a longer session for a more detailed work. Bring your own paper and drawing equipment.

Linoprint Mini Workshop led by Frank Bingley
Challenge yourself to do something a little different. Tools and ink will be available, bring your own cartridge paper and tools if you have them.
Plan your A5 painting now for display at the Annual Exhibition. Topic: Scenes from Market Harborough; It must be in landscape format. Bring your finished A5 painting to the September meeting.

Venue: Welland Park. We will meet at 10am outside the café, and reconvene at 12pm for photos and coffee!
25th September 2020 - Acrylic portrait workshop led by Glenn Badham
You will need to bring a small board or heavy weight paper under painted in pink acrylic. Limit the size of board to a maximum of 8x10 inches / 20x25 cm. An (optional) limited palette of acrylic paint colours: Titanium white, cadmium yellow, cadmium red, Ultramarine blue and (black OR Alizarin crimson).

30th October - Painting together: topic, Still Life
Club members are encouraged to set up their own still life, but you may work from photographs, provided you have taken the image yourself
27th November 2020 - Painting together: free choice
All work done from photographs, must be the artist’s (club members) own copyright.
December: No meeting - (festive break) 29th January 2021 - Painting together – free choice

26th February - Keeping within the law and authenticity
A short talk by Michael Edwards, followed by a DVD showing a contemporary artist at work
26th March - AGM and Club Competition
Competition subject: a modern version of a famous painting (with a twist). Bring your finished painting to display alongside an image of your famous painting
Visitors will be most welcome for a small fee at the door. Sessions start at 7.30pm prompt and end at 9.30pm.
